4 B1G teams crack preseason top 25 of Pro Football Focus

This has been the week of all the preseason top 25’s being released and Pro Football Focus was no different as they released theirs on Monday.
4 B1G teams made the cut (in years past it’s been a lot more) and it starts with Ohio State at No. 4. The Buckeyes are one of the best teams in the country and have a ton of talent returning so this should be no surprise. They are also in the top 5 in both the AP Poll and Yahoo Sports’ one they did earlier on Thursday.
Indiana (No. 12), Wisconsin (No. 15), and Iowa (No. 22) also made the cut for the B1G in this poll and none of those should be surprises either. The Hoosiers finished 6-2 overall last season and have almost all of their major talent returning for 2021.
Wisconsin and Iowa also both have a lot of strong talent returning for this season as they finished 4-3 and 6-2 respectfully.
Both Penn State and Michigan (who are usually ranked in most preseason polls) were not mentioned in this one. Considering how both teams struggled during the shortened 2020 season, that is no surprise ahead of 2021.
