It doesn’t get much better than David Bell’s performance from Week 7.

Facing off against No. 2 Iowa and a tough defense, Bell brought his best to the field. He rattled off 11 catches for a career-high 240 yards and a key touchdown. Bell’s 240 yards ranks No. 2 all-time for a single game at Purdue.

Now through 3 career games against the Hawkeyes, Bell has more than made a reputation as a juggernaut against the Iowa defense. His 2 best receiving performances – yardage-wise – have come vs. the Hawkeyes and he is averaging double-digit catches against Kirk Ferentz’s squad.

After the game, Bell addressed his performance and Purdue’s big win over the No. 2 team in the nation. He pointed out Purdue is “always capable of greatness” and gave credit to Boiler Nation.
