Noah Kim is heading to the East Coast to continue his college football career, committing to Coastal Carolina on Tuesday.
Kim was Michigan State’s Week 1 starter under center and played in 5 games for the Spartans this year. He was eventually replaced by Katin Houser as starter ahead of the Rutgers game. Kim accounted for 1,090 yards passing with 6 touchdowns and 6 interceptions.
There was an opening for the Chanticleers at quarterback now that Grayson McCall is in the transfer portal. McCall had been the starting QB for Coastal Carolina since 2020, accounting for 10,005 yards passing.

There is now only 1 scholarship Michigan State QB from this season that hasn’t found a home. Sam Leavitt committed to Arizona State on Monday as Houser is still in the portal. Houser was eventually replaced by Leavitt during the Minnesota game though Houser retained his starting role the following week against Nebraska to close out the regular season there.
The Michigan State QB exodus continues as Jonathan Smith arrives in East Lansing to reshape the roster. The good news for the Spartans is that reinforcements could soon be on the way with former 4-star prospect Aidan Chiles recently visiting MSU.
