Report: Elite TE prospect, 2020 Penn State signee suffers shoulder injury during All-America Game practice
The 2020 recruiting class was able to sign their national letter of intent during the Early Signing Period earlier this month and make it officially known where they will be attending college.
One of those that signed during the ESP was Theo Johnson, rated as a 4-star prospect by 247Sports Composite and the No. 3 tight end in the entire 2020 class. Johnson signed with Penn State on Dec. 18.

Johnson, being as talented as he is, has been invited to participate in the Under Armour All-American Game on Tuesday, Jan. 2. During practice on Monday, Dec. 30, a report surfaced that he had suffered a serious shoulder injury:
Sounds like Theo Johnson just suffered a serious injury during practice for the UA All-America Game.

Dislocated shoulder isn’t too bad. There was some worry that it was a bicep tear or a break. That doesn’t appear to be the case, which is good. Theo hasn’t had shoulder issues in the past, which is good.

If it is in fact a dislocated shoulder, this isn’t the worst news in the world. Of course, it isn’t great. But, it could have been worse.
If it is indeed a dislocated shoulder, and all goes well in recovery, Johnson should be ready for the 2020 season in Happy Valley.
