Emmanuel Acho had glowing praise for J.T. Tuimoloau after Ohio State’s win over Penn State on Saturday.

Tuimoloau became the only player this century with 2 interceptions, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery in a single game. Tuimoloau recorded 6 total tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 3 tackles for loss.

Tuimoloau also intercepted Penn State QB Sean Clifford, taking it 16 yards to the house in the 4th to help clinch the victory for the Buckeyes.

Acho said Tuimoloau’s play was reminiscent of a great performance by Ndamukong Suh. Acho even took things a step further, saying Tuimoloau’s Week 9 game was the greatest game he’s seen by a college defender.

“Dec. 6, 2009 was the greatest college football game I had seen by a defender, Ndamukong Suh,” said Acho. “12 tackles, 7 TFL, 4.5 sacks. Today I saw a better game (by J.T. Tuimoloau).

“I have never seen a performance like this defensively in my days of watching and playing college football… I have never seen a performance like this, and it’s not like he just stumbled into great plays.”
