Wisconsin had a phenomenal showing against Michigan a week ago.

The Badgers ran up, through, around, however you want to put it against the Wolverines’ defense. The game at halftime was 28-0. It was pure domination.

That being said, not everything was perfect. Wisconsin was called for two targeting calls on two of its safeties in the victory. Eric Burrell and Reggie Pearson were both ejected in the second half, meaning that both Burrell and Pearson will miss the first half of this week’s game.

On Saturday, Wisconsin hosts Northwestern. The Wildcats are going to be without their top WR is senior Bennett Skowronek, so that will help ease the blows of losing two safeties for the first half.

On Friday, the Badgers put out their most recent injury report:

Madison Cone is a safety and is listed as questionable. If he is out for the game on Saturday, the Badgers will have to go deep into the depths of its roster to find playable safeties. Listed as out are LB Leo Chenal, TE Luke Benzschawel and DT Bryson Williams.
