Wisconsin and Ohio State have been impressive through three weeks, and the two schools were atop one interesting list following Week 4.

By now, everyone is aware of the Badgers’ dismantling of Michigan in Madison. After carrying a 28-0 lead into halftime, Paul Chryst’s squad rolled to the big win.

Ohio State did not face quite the same level of competition, but the Buckeyes were nonetheless impressive. Justin Fields and company put up over 70 points against Miami (OH) to cruise to 4-0.

Following Saturday’s action, ESPN analyst Phil Steele released his list of teams by average game grade. The list featured Clemson, Alabama, LSU, and Georgia, among others, but the two B1G schools headlined the list.

Wisconsin and Ohio State occupied No. 1 and No. 2 on the list:

Based on the methodology, it is not a huge surprise. As Steele points out, the system looks at who team’s have played, as well as yards and points.

Wisconsin has scored at least 35 points in every game while Ohio State has scored at least 42 points in every game. Obviously, there’s a long way to go to decide the B1G, but the October 26 matchup between the two schools is shaping up to be an epic showdown.
