Indiana adds to big weekend with commitment from 2022 DL out of Florida
Indiana is looking to get past a dismal 2-10 record in 2021, and a strong weekend – both on the recruiting trail and in the transfer portal – has the Hoosiers heading toward a strong Early Signing Period.
Sunday evening, the Hoosiers picked up their latest commitment for the class of 2022. That came from Venson Sneed, a defensive lineman out of Winter Park, Florida.

According to the composite rankings, Sneed is a 3-star prospect and the No. 75 DL nationally for the class of 2022. He becomes the 15th commit for Indiana’s recruiting class, bringing that group up to No. 27 nationally for the cycle.
So far this weekend, Indian has also picked up transfer commitments from running backs via Auburn and UNC. Those players will try to help an offense that averaged 115 yards on the ground in 2021.
Indiana also added another Florida prospect to its 2022 recruiting class in a defensive back out of Miami.
