Kevin Givens becomes fourth PSU player to declare for NFL Draft
The news continues to pour out of Happy Valley on Wednesday.
A fourth Penn State player has declared for the NFL Draft, this time it’s defensive tackle Kevin Givens. He just completed his third year with the Nittany Lions and was a force along the defensive line.
Givens rounded out the 2018 campaign with 33 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and five sacks. He totaled four stops and two tackles for loss in the season finale against Kentucky.
DT Kevin Givens announces on Instagram he’s also headed to the NFL. That’s four declarations for today, one assistant coach firing and one transfer (and the night is still young!) Not shocked by Givens considering he’ll wow people when he tests and he ended the season strong.

Givens played in 39 career games for the Nittany Lions. He totaled 82 tackles, 21.5 stops for loss and 13 sacks in three seasons in Happy Valley.
He posted single-season highs in all three categories this season.
Givens joins fellow defensive lineman Shareef Miller and offensive linemen Ryan Bates and Connor McGovern to announce to declare for the NFL Draft. All four players announced on Wednesday.
