Michigan is undefeated halfway through the season sitting at 6-0, 3-0 in B1G play and the No. 6 team in the country according to the AP Top-25 poll.

The College GameDay crew talked about the Wolverines and what they still want to see out of the team.

“They understand they can run the ball. They’ve got Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum; they have a heck of a running game,” said Desmond Howard. “I think people want to see them throw the ball more, but Coach Harbaugh’s philosophy is ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.'”

Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on what he wants to see from Michigan, as well.

“How does Michigan improve? They just need better opponents,” said Herbstreit. “We don’t know. They look great, they’ve been one of the most efficient teams in the country. It’s just, next week, when they take on Michigan State.”

Michigan will have plenty of tests coming down the stretch. Michigan plays 3 AP Top-25 opponents coming up, with No. 9 Michigan State, at No. 7 Penn State and vs. No. 5 Ohio State on the schedule.

Michigan is at home today to take on Northwestern at noon ET on FOX.
