It doesn’t sound like four-star athlete Cameron Martinez has had a change of heart. The Michigan native is still set on attending Ohio State for the 2020 season.

Martinez announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he will be honoring his commitment and will sign with Ohio State next Wednesday, the next signing day for the 2020 class. He originally committed to the Buckeyes in July, but continued to explore his options.

According to 247Sports, Martinez said he picked Ohio State over Northwestern and Notre Dame. Oregon also made a late pitch, but the four-star athlete had already made up his mind by that point.

“I will be signing and honoring my commitment to be a Buckeye, a lifelong dream of mine,” Martinez wrote on Twitter. “I couldn’t be more excited and thankful to Coach Day and the rest of the coaching staff!!!”

According to 247Sports’ Composite rankings, Martinez is ranked as the No. 8 player from Michigan, the No. 14 athlete in the 2020 class and sit at No. 325 overall for the cycle. He picked Ohio State over 27 other schools that offered.

Ohio State’s 2020 class currently sits atop the B1G and is No. 5 nationally.
