LOOK: Scott Van Pelt delivers on bet with Tyler Trent, paints Purdue 'P' on his head
Scott Van pelt is a man of his word.
Several weeks ago, the ESPN host welcomed Purdue graduate and super fan Tyler Trent onto his SportsCenter Show following the Boilermakers’ blowout win over Ohio State. That same night, Van Pelt made a bet with Trent.
Van Pelt, a Maryland graduate, placed a friendly wager on the basketball game between the Terrapins and the Boilermakers on Dec. 6. If Maryland won, Trent — who had famously shaved a ‘P’ into the side of his head — would have to sport the Terps ‘M’ logo. If the Boilers were victorious, Van Pelt had to paint the Purdue ‘P’ on his head.
Purdue defeated Maryland 62-60.
After the Maryland loss, Van Pelt delivered on his promise. Here’s the final result:

Scott Van Pelt had a bet with Purdue superfan Tyler Trent that if Purdue beat Maryland, he would get the Purdue 'P' painted on his head for an entire SportsCenter.

That’s a pretty awesome move from Van Pelt.
Here’s the original exchange between Trent and Van Pelt when the bet was made.
